Decorative Accent Wall

Decorative painting on this wall creates a cozy atmosphere in this family room. A rich red (Mautz, Scarlet Oak) was used as accent wall and base color for the decorative finish, creating a dramatic and welcoming room for friends, family and guests.  Colorwashing with three color glazes were used to create this wall.

Rag Rolling Accent Wall

A room to grow with! This room was designed for a 5 year old girl, but the style seems timeless--a room that will be suitable at 5 and also enjoyed at 15. All the walls are painted a lavender hue and the wall behind the bed is an accent wall with multiple layers of rag rolling using several shades of purple.  Working closely with the homeowner, we created a space for her daughter that can be enjoyed for years to come.

Decoratively Plastered and Glazed Range Hood

Top:  Red Canary LLC applied a custom hand-troweled plaster finish to this range hood and then used several layers of glazing to create an aged appearance--definitely a piece that is a focal point! Bottom:  An up-close view of the finish. Colors were selected that coordinated with the granite countertops.

Like the old picture frames in these pics? Although these are originals collected by the homeowner, weathered by time, we can tranform any picture frame (or other items such as furniture) into a piece that looks as if it has existed for years and has been worn by time. Frames begin at $30.00 and prices vary according to media. For an estimate or ideas, call (608) 843-1580

Bathroom Remodel

We wish we had before pictures of this remodel. The walls were originally covered with wallpaper and porcelain tiles. After removing the wallpaper and tiles, we applied a decorative plaster finish and then layered decorative glazes over the plaster in several colors, including the blue painted above the molding. All walls, trim and cabinetry was painted. Stay tuned for when the new floor goes in!
